TURNER PRUITT

“OG” & FOUNDER

Turner founded the BACKSTOP BANDITS in 2022 alongside the other four “OGs.” He is a former JUCO Bandit (Saddleback & NOC Enid) and a graduate of Fresno Pacific University, where he played his final two years of college baseball. His playing career also included two stints with the Savannah Bananas, where he was part of the 2022 CPL Championship team. Turner’s mission is to help catchers develop the skills necessary to dominate their position, lead their team, and win both in baseball and in life.

Turner is currently offering small group catcher training in the Tampa Bay area. He also runs BACKSTOP CLUB - our remote training platform, and coaches at all BACKSTOP BOOTCAMPS.

COLE DANILUK

BB CERTIFIED CATCHING COACH

Cole caught at Colorado State University - Pueblo before starting his coaching career in 2018. In addition to coaching catchers with the BACKSTOP BANDITS, he is the Director of Training at The Farm Sports in Colorado Springs.

Cole currently runs our small group training sessions every Saturday at Douglas County HS in Castle Rock, CO.

NOLAN ACKERMAN

“OG” & BB Certified Catching Coach

Nolan was one of the original five catchers who started BACKSTOP BANDITS. He is a former JUCO Bandit from the College of San Mateo, as well as a graduate of Division 1 Southeast Missouri State University, where he played a key role on the 2024 NCAA Regional team.

Ack will be coaching at our upcoming BACKSTOP BOOTCAMP at his alma mater - SEMO.
