We are coming to CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO this AUGUST for our BACKSTOP BOOTCAMP - SEMO!
WHERE? Capaha Field @ Southeast Missouri State University
WHEN? August 30-31, 2025
WHO? For youth and high school catchers ages 10-18 (groups will be separated by age)
COACHES who will be in attendance include BACKSTOP BANDITS founder Turner Pruitt (Fresno Pacific alum and former Savannah Banana), current BACKSTOP BANDITS coach Nolan Ackerman (SEMO alum), local AK12 Hitting & Catching Academy leader Andrew Keck (SEMO alum and formerly of the Atlanta Braves organization), along with current SEMO catchers and coaching staff TBA.
WHAT? Intensive catching instruction from experienced coaches and current D1 catchers, covering receiving, blocking, throwing, and more. The lineup of coaches at this event brings together a powerful mix of perspectives on the catching position, making this a rare opportunity to learn from every angle.
