Meet the coach

TURNER PRUITT

Turner founded the BACKSTOP BANDITS in 2022 alongside the other four OGs. Since then, he’s worked with hundreds of catchers across the country, from 7-year-old studs to Division 1 standouts and current pros. He was a JUCO Bandit at Saddleback and NOC Enid, and finished his playing career at Fresno Pacific in 2024. He also played two stints with the Savannah Bananas, including their 2022 CPL Championship season.

Now, Turner is dedicated to helping as many catchers as he can become more CONFIDENT and COMPETENT behind the plate, so that they can effectively lead their teams and win in baseball and in life.

Turner spearheads the BACKSTOP CLUB online training platform, building the workouts, leading the weekly video calls, and adding as much value for our members as possible.
